Coach Dee Dixon
Deanna "Coach Dee" Dixon's journey began in the bustling boroughs of New York City, where she was born in Queens and raised in Brooklyn. From a young age, Deanna's passion for music and performance was evident, leading her to graduate from the Professional Performing Arts High School with a strong emphasis in Vocal Music and Theory. Her formative years were deeply influenced by her upbringing in the church, where she served diligently in the worship arts ministry, fostering her spiritual and creative growth.
In 2007, Deanna made a significant move to Charlotte, North Carolina, accompanied by her daughter. It was here that she met her husband, and together they have built a loving family, raising three children, Naomi Rose Bonny, 18, Amber Renee Dixon, 15, and Joshua Dixon, 10 over their twelve years of marriage. Deanna's educational journey has been equally impressive, culminating in a bachelor's degree in English and a Master's in Psychology with a specialization in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Beyond her academic achievements, Deanna is a multifaceted professional, acclaimed author, and certified professional life coach, life purpose coach, Master life coach, and goal success coach. Her dedication to ministry remains a cornerstone of her life, actively serving as a worship arts leader and collaborating with her husband in the marriage and family ministry.
Currently, Deanna is pursuing her second Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, driven by her commitment to supporting and empowering individuals and families through counseling and therapeutic practices. Deanna "Coach Dee" Dixon continues to inspire through her leadership, artistic talents, and unwavering dedication to her faith and community in Charlotte, NC, embodying resilience, compassion, and a profound commitment to personal and relational growth.
Dr. Deja Ledbetter
Originally from Germantown, Maryland, Dr. Deja Ledbetter was raised in the surrounding areas of Maryland and Virginia. She initially pursued a path towards medical school at Mary Baldwin College but realized that the conventional medical approach did not align with her beliefs about healthcare. It was during a chiropractic appointment with her mother that she found her calling to become a chiropractor.
Following this realization, Dr. Ledbetter moved to Iowa from North Carolina to pursue her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College in Davenport. During her time at Palmer College, she was actively involved in organizations such as the Gonstead Club and served as President and Vice President of the Student American Black Chiropractic Association. She also attended multiple seminars and received her doctorate in February of 2017. After completing her degree, Dr. Ledbetter secured a position with LaBounty Family Chiropractic and later opened her own practice, Nooma Wellness Center, in Charlotte, NC in 2019. She specializes in treating patients of all ages from newborns to the elderly, with a focus on holistic healthcare.
Outside of her professional career, Dr. Ledbetter is a devoted mother of two boys, Daniel Joseph Ledbetter, 7, and Israel David Ledbetter, 11. With a strong dedication to customer satisfaction and a wealth of experience in leadership and mentorship, Dr. Deja Ledbetter continues to inspire and empower those around her while making a positive impact in the field of chiropractic care and beyond. Dr. Ledbetter is deeply committed to her community and actively participates in various initiatives such as voulteering, mentoring youth, organizing charity events, and coaching basketball. She is also a dedicated member and leader at her local church where she serves as a dedicated worship leader and ministry steward. She enjoys activites like reading, playing rugby, playing guitar, and motivating others.
Coach Sha’leah McCord
Originally born in New Jersey, Sha’Leah’s family relocated to Charlotte, NC in her early years. Sha’Leah is a dedicated Worship Leader and Singer Songwriter based in the vibrant Charlotte area of North Carolina. Her passion for music and ministry is evident in every aspect of her life. Graduating from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts and Entertainment, Sha’Leah brings a wealth of knowledge in music theory, performance, and technique to her craft.
With a heart focused on edifying the body of Christ, Sha’Leah leads by example, both through her music and her testimony. Her commitment to living a life pleasing to God serves as a guiding light, particularly for young women whom she mentors and inspires. Beyond her musical endeavors, Sha’Leah finds joy in building community and drawing inspiration from the lives of those around her. Known for her willingness to lend a helping hand and offer a listening ear, Sha’Leah embodies positivity and grace. Her life’s mission is to be a beacon of hope and encouragement, reflecting her deep-seated belief in the transformative power of faith and music.
Coach Susan Rhodes
Susan Rhodes is a dedicated and multi-talented professional whose journey from Queens, New York, to Charlotte, North Carolina, is a testament to her unwavering commitment to service, family, and personal growth. With a strong foundation in application development, data analytics, and graphic design, Susan brings a unique blend of technical expertise and creative skill to everything she does.
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Susan is focused on leveraging technology to solve real-world problems. Her ability to blend technical proficiency with graphic design allows her to communicate complex concepts in both clear and visually compelling ways. This combination of skills is integral to her mission of making technology more accessible and impactful for people from all walks of life.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Susan is an entrepreneur and a devoted single mother to her daughter, Sydney Amaya. Balancing her career ambitions with family life, she remains deeply committed to her daughter’s growth and well-being. Guided by her Christian faith and a passion for innovation, Susan is determined to make a positive and lasting impact in her community, as well as in the broader tech industry. With her resilience, creativity, and dedication to service, Susan Rhodes is poised to continue shaping a future where technology works for the greater good.
Naomi Bonny
Naomi Bonny was born in Newark, NJ, where she spent her early years before her family relocated to Charlotte, NC. Growing up in Charlotte shaped Naomi's formative years, influencing her passion for dance and choreography. She honed her skills and creativity in movement through various performances and community engagements. As a dedicated student, Naomi graduated as an honor student from Palisades High School, excelling both academically and artistically. Her commitment to excellence extended beyond the classroom, where her dance performances garnered recognition and admiration.
Currently pursuing her academic ambitions, Naomi is enrolled at Winston-Salem State University. Here, she is pursuing a dual focus in Psychology and Business Management, driven by her interest in understanding human behavior and fostering organizational success. In addition to her academic pursuits, Naomi remains deeply engaged in the arts community, continuing to choreograph and perform, showcasing her talent and passion for dance. Her journey is marked by a blend of academic achievement, artistic expression, and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
Amber Dixon
Amber Dixon was born and raised in the vibrant city of Charlotte, North Carolina, where she developed a deep appreciation for community and culture. Currently a dedicated student at Palisades High School, Amber has garnered recognition for her outstanding academic achievements, earning membership in The National Society of High School Scholars. Beyond her academic pursuits, Amber is deeply involved in the arts and extracurricular activities. She has been an integral part of the school's band color guard, showcasing her skill and dedication in various winter guard competitions. Amber's passion for the performing arts shines through her involvement in the concert choir, where she impresses as an alto and delivers captivating musical performances.
In addition to her artistic talents, Amber is actively engaged in ministry as a student leader. Her commitment to her faith is evident as she prepares to join Students of Faith, a platform dedicated to spreading the gospel within her school, the community, and beyond. Amber's enthusiasm for serving others and sharing her beliefs underscores her strong sense of purpose and leadership. As she continues to excel academically, artistically, and spiritually, Amber Dixon remains a shining example of dedication, talent, and compassion within her school and community in Charlotte, NC.
